An Eragon video game, based on the upcoming fantasy-adventure film, will be available in November.
Attendees of the Electronic Entertainment Expo, May 10-12 in Los Angeles, can get a preview of the multi-platform game, which engages console and PC gamers in dragon flight/flight combo action and magic-based combat, while handheld players can perform touch-screen spell casting and dual-screen attacks.
The epic movie, based on the best-selling novel by Christopher Paolini and starring Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich, will be in theaters December 12.
Eragon is a young farm boy who discovers, with the help of a blue dragon, his destiny as a Dragon Rider, and that he alone has the power to save — or destroy — an empire.

hey guys, firstly im not a geek, i get all A’s in school but i still shop at tilly’s and shit like that. Anyways, i thought the book eragon and eldest were freakin good, so i thought they should make a movie, soon enough i found out. Now there is a fucking video game?!?!?! Thats so awesome. U should make it co-op uno, someone can be saphira and fly, shoot fire, other can be eragon and fight with sword and spells. Its gonna rock the shit outta all the other video games, take my advice, it’ll sell a lot

First of all im not a f*ckin geek. I loved the books and now a game and a movie thats sweet. Im a kid who loves games im a gamer dont f*ckin laugh. it would be an awsome multi player one as saphira and the other as eragon or as a dwarf or something like that! Now one quetion, is it freakin multi player?
Ok, Ok… I shall answer your question about that multi-player thing. It is goning to be co-op, but I don’t think you will be able to play as saphira (at least not in regular game play). There happy now?
I really like the book and love video game they are almost my life and I want this game so badly, but I’m not sure what console it’s on and I’m hoping it will be on the Wii because that will be the best gameplay in my view.

one thing i’m a geek…but i just cant w8 for the movies and the games to come out i want kick glabortrixes ass! plus i really want to travel with all the cahrs in the game!! and i cant w8 to see the movie and see what the chars look like to the movie makers as well in the game!!

i think the third book will be called Empire because the other 2 begin with E and have 6 letters!
I searched my records and found that the Eragon game will be available on the following platforms:
– Sony PlayStation 2
– Xbox
– Xbox 360
– Game Boy Advance
– Nintendo DS
– Sony PSP
– PC computers
No mention anywhere about availability on Nintendo’s Gamecube or the upcoming Wii gaming system.

I just finished Elest and I was super suprised that Murtagh was the new Rider. I think the book should be black and have Galbatorix in though. Anyway, I want to see Eragon the day it comes out (Dcember 15 not 12!!lol). Also I et The third book will be as long as Harry potter 5. Look, take it from a dark quiet gothic person, both books rocked and the third will too. Now the game and movie I don’t know about cuz look at Bloodrayne. The game rocked but the movie was the cheeziest movie I’ve ever seen since kill bill. The game should have extreme details and graphics, especially since its going to be on all consoles including the 360 and PS3. If the game turned out how I think it might then it will be off the racks before it even hits the racks.
Man, this game should be the shit, i have read both books and im waiting 4 the 3rd i hope the movie will be great.
