The GB3 thing is complete crap - all this stems from an interview with Harold Ramis last year when his movie Ice Harvest was about to come out. In it he talked briefly about old plans for a third movie, which included him saying that way back when they were looking at Ben Stiller to star as part of a new, young team. This article had all it's tenses adjusted to the present by WENN, an entertainment news wire. That got picked up by about a dozen subscriber website as fact (GB3 in the making! Ben Stiller to star!), which in turn got picked up by a million bloggers.

Then it calmed down.

Now, IGN brings it up again - same Hollywood.com article from last November that cited the WENN wire item. Off go the bloggers. Now, contactmusic.com has reported the whole article, only they've reduced it to GB3 in the making, Ben Stiller to replace Bill Murray. Off go the bloggers.

And at the heart of it all is a couple of simple sentances by Harold Ramis about what HAD been planned, but was no longer so.
