I am mixed on Downey, I am not a fan. I think IronMan has a good chance of transitioning the Movies/TV since there is no supernatural superpower involved. I would prefer though a rich set of characters and situations for an Iron Man long run TV series instead. Timothy Dalton would have been my first choice too.
