The Ladies of ‘Grindhouse’ Exposed

The Geeks of Doom   |    |

Rolling Stone: McGowan and DawsonRose McGowan and Rosario Dawson bare their bods for this month’s issue of Rolling Stone magazine.

This month’s Rolling Stone magazine cover features Rosario Dawson and Rose McGowan of the upcoming flick Grindhouse clad in nothing but a strategically placed belt of bullets.

This issue, which contains the cover story Girl-on-Girl Action: Rose McGowan and Rosario Dawson fire up the “Grindhouse” (how’s that for a title?), is on newsstands only until April 19, 2007.

Meanwhile, overheard at the Doom offices:

Their butts are touching … and with my approval.

Can I borrow your belt?

There’s nothing “bad” about people who are as neurotic and self-obsessed as these two must be to be so freakishly thin. No thanks.

That’s kinda hoochie.

If I looked like them, I’d show my near-naked, bulleted bod to the world, too.

What happened to McGowan’s nose?

The return of Spring usually means many things… but Rolling Stone cover cheesecake of this sort usually returns during summer. Me, I just much rather see the movie.

  1. Empress Eve Says:

I’d like give hetero female opinion here by saying that I totally dig this cover. I think they look hot. With that said, it makes you wonder if mags like Maxim and FHM with their sexy covers of big-name female stars are putting the pressure on Rolling Stone to compete. That would explain the springtime cheesecake.

  2. Dave3 Says:

Cheesecake or no cheesecake, I can’t wait to see these two films!

  3. Dr. Geek Says:

Actually Eve, Rolling Stone has a pretty long history of naked or nearly naked people on their covers going back decades. They’ve tapered off on this in the last few years, but previous covers in the since the mid-90’s have included naked or scantily clad pics of Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Cindy Crawford, Gisele Budchen, Christina Aguilera, and Jennifer Aniston. Going back further, there have also been pictures of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and David Cassidy to name just a couple of the more famous pics.
