From SciFi Channel to Lifetime? The actress will star in dramatic TV movie for the channel for women.
Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff will make the jump to the Lifetime channel when she stars in the network’s tentatively titled telefilm Be Careful What You Wish For, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In the 2-hour telefilm, Sackhoff is a teenager in the 1990s who, thanks to an eclipse, wakes up 20 years in the future on her wedding day with her life-long classmate crush. Be Careful airs on July 16.
Sackhoff will also guest-star in the pilot for NBC’s The Bionic Woman — a reimagining of the 1970s by BSG executive producer David Eick. The actress, best-known for her role as badass pilot Starbuck on BSG, will play Sarah, an evil bionic woman and nemesis to “bionic woman” Jamie Sommers (Michelle Ryan).
