There are ads throughout NYC promoting Spider-Man Week in NYC, which takes place April 30 - May 6 to promote the premiere of Spider-Man 3.
The various ads can be found in places like bus stops and train platforms as well as flags on light poles in parks and along major streets.
I’ve been keeping my eye out for these ads, but the only ones I’ve seen were while I was riding the bus, so I wasn’t able to get a non-blurry shot. Finally the other day I spotted one at a bus stop and snapped the photo at right (click photo for larger view).
Also, in today’s NY Daily News (which unrelatedly also features the wedding of one of my life-long friends in its “Sunday Now” section), there’s a cardboard insert for Spider-Man Week in NYC that lists all the activities taking place during that event. The paper is also a running a content where participants can win tickets to the “black carpet” premiere of Spider-Man 3 in Queens on April 30.
