Dark & Stormy Entertainment, the newly formed production company by writer Jason Smilovic and producers Tyler Mitchell and Robert Kravis, has the following projects in the works:

• The Rum Diary — Johnny Depp is still attached to star in the film, which has been a long time in development. Bruce Robinson plans to direct his own script based on the book by Hunter S. Thompson.
• The Echo — a remake of the Filipino horror film Sigaw. Mitchell is producing with Vertigo and Burt Dickenson.
• The Most Powerful Magician on Planet Earth — Mitchell and Dickenson will produce for New Line.
