Yahoo! has an exclusive teaser trailer in standard and HD formats for The Golden Compass, the New Line Cinema film based on the first book in Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy.
The Golden Compass, which stars Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Eva Green, Ian McShane, and Dakota Blue Richards, hits theaters December 7, 2007.

I came to the realization about five seconds in that I needed to stop watching this trailer and read the book immediately.

I heard that this movie is about 2 children killing God. Unfortunately the trailer will not play for me. If this is ture I think it would be horrible to read that book and its disgusting to even entertain the idea of killing God…
I am not sure if we need another type of this movie.
