I discovered this band through my other half Sam (Manic_Rage) and went to see them in Manchester, UK my hometown just over a month ago now.

I thoroughly enjoyed their performance, it was breathtaking and brusing, a true heavy metal ensemble. The album including the artwork is stunning.

@T.E. -- you are right about there NOT being enough music represented here, but we're working to change that! D3 and I are big-time metalheads and musicians as well, so we're thrilled to have people join the Doom ranks to contribute more music content.

Bravo Manic Rage!
This review covers something we don't see enough of in "Geeks Of Doom" --- the music scene. I mean, what self-respecting Geek DOESN'T crank up the tunes?
I'm also interested in the UK rock scene and in discovering new bands. On your recommendation, I will be listening to Orange Goblin and looking for their work. I especially liked your comments about the song "Vagrant Stomp" and "Cities Of Frost."
One of the most valuable services Geeks Of Doom offers is information about projects that you just don't hear about ANYWHERE else. Your review not only offers interesting criticism but valuable information.
I'm off to see what else I can find on the 'net about this interesting band....
