And it doesn't matter how long a book has been in print, one can't assume that everyone has read the book, especially younger generations who are raised in front of TV screens. Also, LWW is THE classic book of this series, so it's easy to assume that everyone knows that story, but PC is a sequel and definitely not as wide-read. Either way, a little info can't hurt. @CJSchmidt

And considering how liberally they've altered other classics that have been brought to screen in the past few years, who's to say what a plot will ultimately be in relation to the original. @CJSchmidt
