It was traumatizing enough when I was a kid to see the beached head of the Statue of Liberty in Planet of the Apes, I definitely don’t want to see any modern-day destruction of my city.</small></em> Ahem ... My childhood trauma has returned. I just want to state for the record that on June 9, 2007, in an entry about the remake of “I Am Legend,” I said:
