That being said, I'd still love to see Clint Eastwood have a go at telling the story of the real heroes of the 18th Fighter-Bomber Wing during their 37 months of aerial combat during the Korean War--the so-called "Forgotten War." The "Truckbusters From Dogpatch," as they were known, flew more combat missions during that war--most of them in the venerable (also vulnerable) F-51 Mustang--than any other Wing...and most of their missions were in support of ground troops. Without their contributions, so many more UN/American infantry would have been lost. Sorry, I can't get all worked up over comic book hero movies and the like. Give me the real thing, any time.
