Walden/Fox figured they'd put their efforts into marketing and not give a fig about "those few fans of the moldy, outdated, boring book," as they apparently perceived it. My name's Eve too, so that made me do a double-take. I thought it might have been my own badge. No plans to see the movie, though. I read the books, and I've read about what they've done to the books. It's a pity they didn't care more about making a good adaptation than they do about marketing a bad one. Wow!
