The Beowulf official site has posted an R-rated movie trailer in a new Restricted Access section.
To gain access to the new section, which lists other content as “coming soon,” there’s an age verification prompt.
In the main all-access portion of the site, a second official podcast has been posted which contains an interview with one of the film’s stars, John Malkovich, who plays Unferth.
The performance-capture Robert Zemeckis-directed film stars Ray Winstone as the title character and Angelina Jolie as Grendel’s mother, Beowulf’s seductress. The Paramount Pictures’ upcoming feature, which has a script by Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary based on the Old English poem, also Anthony Hopkins, Robin Wright Penn, Brendan Gleeson, Crispin Glover, and Alison Lohman.
Beowulf hits conventional and IMAX theaters on November 16, 2007.
