I decided to tune in just because I loved those shows so much as a kid. The night for the series pilot and I watched it with much anticipation! Only to be sadly disappointed! I asked myself, "What on earth did NBC do to my beloved show?" The idea of a fresh new approach is all fine and dandy but to completely alter the entire premise of the show! Is an insult to all BW fans! What happen to the cool sound effects and slow-motion running? Thats what made the show so cool! Cheesy you may say, no I don't think so. Was awesome to see. I remember as a kid trying to run slow motion and doing the bionic sound as we ran. It was a lot of fun. Everything today is so serious and dark and depressing. Come on NBC Bionic Woman 2007 lacks heart, humor and above all fun! If you can't update the concept with todays great special FX then leave our classics alone. We gotten too many bad TV show remakes that it makes us all sick of. They ruin BEWITCHED, killed The Dukes Of Hazzard. Hope they stop with this sad version of Bionic Woman. I got my kids hooked on it years ago and loved all the campy fun stuff and asked why they don't show fun shows like this anymore. Then finally I told them, "Hey kids The Bionic Woman is coming back on. They were ecstatic! They're 11,14,17. We all watched it and we gave it a big chance! We totally hate this version and won't be tuning in. We had to pop in the original and watch it. So thank you to NBC for destroying our favorite show.
