IGN has premiered the teaser trailer for Hellboy II: The Golden Army, director Guillermo del Toro’s sequel to 2004’s Hellboy.

There’s also a bunch of new productions photos online at the official Hellboy site, one of which shows for the first time B.P.R.D. agent Johann Krauss. (See image here at right; agent Krauss is at far left.)
There’s also photos of Luke Goss, who plays the villainous Prince Nuada, a ruthless leader of an unstoppable army of underworld creatures.

This looks AWESOME!!! I’m insanely excited for this! As overly excited as I am for Dark Knight and Iron Man, Hellboy is my favorite comic book character ever and this has just topped my list for next summer. Guillermo has done it - he’s pulled off something that looks just incredible AND could be better than the first movie! So frickin’ awesome…!

I think this is the one comic book movie that I am unabashedly stoked for. No misgivings whatsoever. I have utter faith in Guillermo Del Toro.
This looks legit. I think this trailer looks better than The Dark Knight. And I love me some Batman.
As much as I liked the first movie, Hellboy 2 looks even better. I’m so relieved. And excited! And since no one else has said it, let me be the first to point out that Ron Perlman is The Man.
