To coincide with the Zodiac - 2-Disc Director’s Cut DVD release, the film’s official site has been updated with exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews and footage, which include sections on linguistics analysis, geographical profiling, and behavioral profiling.

Also, our good friends over at Movie Geeks United scored an interview with Zodiac screenwriter James Vanderbilt, which you can listen to right now (click on the MGU link; Bonus on this edition of MGU — an interview with Fanboys director Kyle Newman and co-star Chris Marquette!).
The Zodiac scribe finished the script for the Against All Enemies, a Columbia Pictures film to be directed by Robert Redford. Vanderbilt’s adaptation is based on Richard Clarke’s memoir of his days in the White House, Against All Enemies: Inside America’s War on Terror. Also, once the writer’s strike is over, Vanderbilt will write the screenplay for Spider-Man 4.

Synopsis
Based on the actual case files of one of the most intriguing unsolved crimes in the nation’s history, Zodiac is a thriller from David Fincher, the director of Seven and Fight Club. As a serial killer terrifies the San Francisco Bay Area and taunts police with his ciphers and letters, investigators in four jurisdictions search for the murderer. The case will become an obsession for four men as their lives and careers are built and destroyed by the endless trail of clues.
