MovieFone has an exclusive first look at the U.S.S. Enterprise from J.J. Abrams‘ Star Trek XI.

Also, Parmount has gone live with the official site for the film, which hits theaters December 25, 2008. Visit the site at paramount.com/startrek. There’s not much there right now, except a brief synopsis and some movie credits (see them below).
Here’s the brief synopsis from the site:
From director J.J. Abrams (“Mission: Impossible III,” “Lost” and “Alias”) and screenwriters Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman (“TRANSFORMERS,” “MI: III”) comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time, “Star Trek,” featuring a young, new crew venturing boldly where no man has gone before.
The trailer for the film will debut in theaters tomorrow in front of Cloverfield; it’s expected to go live online this Monday.
