This is an interesting little story.

Apparently there’s a scene in the upcoming Judd Apatow-produced movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall in which star and co-writer Jason Segel (Slackers, Knocked Up) writes a musical rendition of Dracula which is performed by puppets. The puppets used in the film were crafted by none other than the Jim Henson Company and after filming on that project was wrapped, Segel decided to pitch the idea to Disney as the next Muppet movie, as crazy as that may sound. The pitch much have been brilliant, because it worked out and that deal is now in place and production is moving forward. Joining Segal to co-write and direct will be Nick Stoller — who also directed Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

This officially makes Segel and Stoller very busy men; they’re also co-writing another movie called Five-Year Engagement, with Stoller directing and Segel starring. Sounds like these two have a little something going on in the land of film.
