I don't think Chloe Lattanzi has any talent what-so-ever. She is painful to watch, and she screeches like a banshee. She butchered Olivia's I Honestly Love You to the flames of hell.

I thought the show was a lot of fun. I thought Jesse Money got a raw deal; clearly Chloe should have been the one to go, but it looks like Snder might be the one to beat.

I couldn't believe how many could NOT sing in tune! It was like watching a train wreck...I couldn't turn it off. I think Chloe "Newton-Jon's" lips were actually too inflated for her to pronouce words, yet Belinda Carlisle still gave her one of the highest scores. Was she even listening to the same performance? This show is good for a laugh or two. Such a relief to hear the few that CAN sing.

I completely agree. The performances were very unpolished, at best. I don't understand how their parents allowed them to perform like that. Knowing how people perceive them, with silver spoon in mouth and diamond rattle in hand, how could they all be so unprepared? Additionally, I don't understand the judging. Is this not a singing competition? How is it that one judge gives a 9.5 and another gives a 4.5 on the same performance??

Also, I think Chloe Rose Lattanzi (Olivia Newton-John's daughter) had a beautiful voice, but a poor performance.

Maybe some of these "kids" are there for the fun of it or for an American Idol "chance of a lifetime" ... but there were a couple of standouts in the mix: namely, Crosby Loggins and Lucy Walsh. It's unfair to lump the whole lot of them into a "joke" when some of these "kids" have real talent. Crosby ROCKS and is destined to be a big star with or without MTV's take on "reality." He's already well on his way with a great CD, released last Fall to RAVE reviews! (Check it out if you haven't)

I also reviewed the show on my new blog. We were close on a few thinks. Notably the awkwardness of the parents being there to witness it all and the suckiness of the host.

I really like Crosby Loggins too. I wish he could sing his own songs, his cd is really good. I have seen him perform many times and when he is relaxed he is very funny and his singing/songwriting skills are excellent.

Thanks for the review, I'll be watching.
