Warner Bros. has posted a new international trailer for their upcoming action flick Speed Racer at the film’s official site.

The trailer is over 2 minutes long and features more of the supporting characters.

This live-action adaptation of the 1960s animated series is from Matrix directors Larry and Andy Wachowski and hits theaters on May 9, 2008.

Emile Hirsch stars as the title character, with Christina Ricci as girlfriend Trixie, and Susan Sarandon and John Goodman as his Speed’s parents. Aussie actor Kick Gurry appears as Speed’s hippie mechanic Sparky, while Lost star Matthew Fox play Speed’s mysterious rival Racer X.
