Will this project ever get to the silver screen? Maybe. Will the movie do the novel justice? I seriously doubt it. Is Angelina Jolie the best actress for the role? I think Natalie Portman would be better for the part.

I’ve not read Atlas Shrugged, but from what I can tell, it deals with a society in New York City that basically abandons and even punishes creativity and independent accomplishment.

You would do well to read the book. It would give you a much better perspective for your post. The story doesn’t just deal with society in New York City, but across America.
