New Images of Live-Action ‘G.I. Joe’ Cast!

The Movie God   |    |

GI JOEParamount Pictures decided to shower the Net with lots of little gifts in the form of brand new images from the upcoming G.I. Joe movie!

So far, we’ve seen the popular Ray Park as Snake Eyes and Rachel Nichols as Scarlett, but yesterday was sheer chaos; basically, multiple popular movie websites were chosen and each were sent an exclusive picture to show to the world! We’ve got Duke and General Hawk, we’ve got Ripcord, Heavy Duty, Breaker, Baroness, Storm Shadow, and Destro (along with the M.A.R.S. logo) and they all look pretty damn good.

Click the thumbnails here below to be brought to the respective site for the high-res full-length versions of each image.

I guess all that leaves is Destro in full costume and the one I’m sure everyone is anxious to see, Cobra Commander (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt)! All I know is that every single one of these images makes me just a little more impatient for the first trailer, so hopefully that’s not too excrutiating a wait or I may have to go digging for some old toys and create one myself.

Directed by Stephen Sommers (The Mummy) and written by Stuart Beattie and Skip Woods, G.I. Joe hits theaters on August 7, 2009. (That’s right, over a year to wait!)

And here are all of the goodies! Indulge, children… indulge!

Some other poor casting decisions aside, I have to admit that Mr. Eko looks positively badass as Heavy Duty.
