But what’s the name of Dante’s demon hunting shop? I have a bit of a demon problem in my apartment and I’d like to contact him. Maybe he’s in the Yellow Pages…
Great review. It made me excited to play DMC4, which will be my first DMC game. I know the story is really deep, so I’m a little worried I won’t know what’s going on since I didn’t play the other games. I hear the other ones are super hard, especially DMC2, which is one reason I never played them.

I think the only DMC game I’ve played is 2, but I remember having fun with it. If I had enough time to devote to more video games, I’d have to make time for DMC 3. Great review.

I LOVE the enthusiasm you show for this game. I wish I could get this enthusiastic about ANTHING. You are a very charming and capable writer.
In have NEVER played this game before but MY favorite move is ALSO to spin around and attack my enemies, because this takes them by surprise, especially if you do it in church.
But that’s ANOTHER thing you’ll learn when you go to college.
I genuinely enjoyed your review and I hope you write more. I’m happy to see someone write something for the sheer delight of sharing something they enjoy. It makes me wish I was 10 years old again…

I am the same as you – I skipped the whole PS2/Xbox phase and just purchased a PS3, so I am slowly working my way back into the gaming world. This game sounds awesome!! Excellent review.

You can still play Devil May Cry because the fourth game of DMC is out for PS3 and Xbox 360. The fourth is very similar to the third game, so you can still enjoy it. Also, in the fourth one, Dante isn’t the only main character. You are two characters, which is Dante and another guy (don’t want to spoil it).

I’m one of the weird ones who skipped the XBox/PS2 stage and went from a PS1 to a 360, but if I ever get a PS2 (I do love me some God of War), I’ll be sure to check out Devil May Cry!

I’m just saying it’s a good idea to actually start with the third game because the real chronological order of the stories in the games are 3, 1, 4, 2.
