It was only a matter of time before the full version official website for The Dark Knight would go online.

Making its long-awaited cinematic debut on July 17^th in Australia and July 18^th in the United States, the Dark Knight has seen a lot of web activity already however.

Ever since they heard of “viral marketing,” Warner Bros. has been all over it, and a veritable plethora of Dark Knight websites have already made their rounds of the internet much to the delight and/or disappointment of Batman fans.

Does the website give us anything we haven’t already seen though? Not really.

It is the epitome of a movie website these days, focusing on wallpapers, buddy icons, trailers, and a synopsis, most of which have already been released online (and here at Geeks of Doom!).
