On the whole I agree with the reviews on this site, but I have to disagree wit this one. Honestly, Prince Caspian seemed to me like Lord of the Rings Lite, just without the skilled camera work, directing, acting, or pretty much anything that made LoTR magical. All of the battle scenes in Caspian are so cut and dry as to be boring, it's like the director doesn't even understand the concept of dynamic filming (which Peter Jackson did so well). There are only two movies I've ever wanted to walk out of from sheer disappointment, and those two are Spiderman 3 and Prince Caspian. I seriously hope the franchise takes a long hard look at itself before continuing on to The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. What makes it all the more sad is that the first Narnia was amazing, and this seems like a cheap, hastily done effort to wring more money out of Narnia.

the makers of Prince Caspian kept to the original story surprisingly well, all thinks considered... i heard they were going to make it into a silly pure-action flick, but thankfully this was not the case

I have more invested in some of the Narnia books than others, so I am excited to know that Prince Caspian will just be exciting and enjoyable.

This is a really good review.
I like these films, but I can't say I am wild about them.
