Great point about the sarcastic culture of today. One of the reasons I fell in love with my current girlfriend was her sense of humor, which of course has the requisite sarcasm and irony involved, same as mine. After two years, we've both realized how dumb that is and how toxic that kind of psychological defense can be for a relationship that needs to be built on straightforward respect and communication. It's the same for a mass majority in our current generation. You raise very good points about how modern cinema riffs off of those themes of sarcasm and irony, and the beauty of filrms like Rambo that embody a different set of principles. Great writing, great points, overall great experience.

Great review, great writing and orginal approach.
There are so many movioe franchises (and TV series, Twin Peaks anyone?) I'd love to get this boxset treatment.
