I think we’re up to trailer #5 (including the teaser) for Get Smart with this new one premiered yesterday by MTV.

Get Smart, Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway, is one of my most anticipated movies of the year and from the previously four trailers I had gotten the impression that this big-screen adaptation of the 1960s TV spy-comedy was going to be really funny.

Now, this latest trailer — which is the first one without that Hives song “Tick Tick Boom” running over it — has me second guessing.

Will this movie really be funny or is it nothing without the Hives? (And damn, who knew I’d like The Hives?)

We do get to see some new footage in this trailer, but it’s mainly just extended scenes from the previous trailers.
