The recently announced live-action Witchblade movie has taken its first step forward in production with the announcement of a director and screenwriter.
B-D is reporting that Michael Rymer (Battlestar Galactica, Queen of the Damned) will direct and Everett De Roche, a television writer, will pen the script for the upcoming adaptation of the popular Top Cow comic book series.
Marc Silvestri , who created the series with David Wohl, is producing the film. The studio is currently scouting a location in Australia for filming.
