Sorry, little things can sometimes excite me.

It’s Friday the 13th here on … well … Earth and filming on the upcoming Platinum Dunes revision of Friday the 13th is wrapping filming. Now, I’d be lying to you if I said that I didn’t wake up this morning hoping and praying that maybe, JUST maybe we’d get our first glimpse at Jason in his new, reborn form.

Well, that didn’t happen. Dammit.

BUT, MTV Movies Blog was able to release a little footage from their set visit to the production and what they were able to show was more than enough to at least get my goosebump (what, I only have one, hey it’s a disorder, leave me alone!) up and excited.

In said footage, we first get a little peek at the set, and I have to say, it looks just fantastic; but the selling point is that they pull THE mask out of its high-security container and show it off a bit. It’s just a damn mask, but it’s oh-so-exciting at the same time. Hell, we even get a few kind words from Jason himself.

On top of all that, it sounds to me like it’s only a short time now before we finally get a look at Jason and probably get our first teaser trailer. Friday the 13th drops on February 13, 2009.
