Last month, we reported that Spider-Man 4 was almost official and that there were plans to film the fourth and fifth Spider-Man films back-to-back.
Now, LA Times has word that Spider-Man 4 is tentatively scheduled for released in May 2011, according to Spider-Man producer Laura Ziskin.
Ziskin also said that there is no completed screenplay yet, but that Sony is hopeful that the fourth film could be ready in three years.
While Sony has already paid Marvel the renewal fee, Spider-Man franchise star Tobey Maguire and director Sam Raimi have not signed on for any further installments at this time.

Venom is gonna be back at SP4, the directors and producers are gonna come up with some dumb shit about how Eddie survived and got sent to prison, where Eddie and Kassady meet, and Kassady gets some of Eddie’s symbiote and becomes Carnage, then both Carnage and Venom want to kill, kill, kill! Dr Conners wants to use the symbiote to grow his arm back, the becomes lizard and helps V and C, then Sandman and Spidey and MAYBE, Black Cat(Gwen Stacy), fight off V,C, and L. Alot of shit that may happen. right at the end up spidey three i knew exactly who the next villains were. My friend was like,”how could carnage be in the next one ,theres no symbiote left?”then i corrected him by saying there was still some in DOCTER CONNER’S lab.that signifies lizard and carnage both being there.
