Attention all Call of Duty fans.
We just got our hands on the latest teaser trailer for the upcoming CoD sequel from Treyarch Studios, World at War. Contained therein are mass quantities of warmongering, jungles, firearm discharge, and explosions… yippee!!
Treyarch Studio’s Mark Lamia says, “With Call of Duty: World at War, we’re re-defining what it means to play a WWII game. We’re excited to give players a host of new enemies that employ entirely new tactics, as well as new, groundbreaking tools – like co-op and the flamethrower – to succeed in the epic fight.”
No release date has been set, but CoD 5 is targeted for a Fall ‘08 release. The video confirms that World at War will be available in one form or another on Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Playstation 3 (PS3 availability confirmed here), and PC platforms.
