With The Dark Knight less than a month away, the photos and viral marketing are ramping up to accommodate the hype. The sheer amount of websites that claim to belong in Gotham City continues to grow, and one that is getting a lot of attention is the Gotham Cable News website.
As we mentioned earlier today, Anthony Michael Hall is playing TV anchor Mike Engel, and in his role he has been doing some TV shows for the Gotham Cable News channel, which is part of the Comcast network (of course it is!). However, the latest TV program is Gotham Tonight, with Lydia Filangeri, who in this week’s episode is looking at Bruce Wayne in “Billionaire Without a Cause, Bruce Wayne.”
The episode, which runs for a good 10 or so minutes, is really well done, showing an amazing dedication to providing additional viral material. Interviews with Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent (Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart , respectively) really add reality to the show.
In other Dark Knight news, over at IESB a new flush of photos has emerged, including our first shots of Eric Roberts and a photo of the Joker getting the shit beaten out of him.
