Helena Bonham Carter is in talks to join the cast of Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins in a role that is being called “small, but pivotal.”
Could it be the role of Sarah Connor? One might speculate.
If Carter signs on, she would become part of what I can only admit to as one of the most interesting I’ve seen for the movie they’re performing in.
To refresh everyone’s memory, the cast consists of Christian Bale as John Connor, Bryce Dallas Howard as Kate Connor, along with Anton Yelchin, Sam Worthington, Moon Bloodgood, and Common.
Terminator is being directed by McG and is slated for release on May 22, 2009. Production on the film started last month.

This has a huge cast so far.
I think Bale and Carter can make this movie great even with McG directing. This is not going to happen without the freedom that an R rating will give the movie to use graphic scenes and language. Its Terminator not some Disney movie…help me force the studio to change their decision, join the campaign to change to R or don’t see the release.
