They expect more than a hundred million dollars for this movie, and I'm sure WB will spend a lot to defend their investment. Hollywood Insider quoted Kevin Smith saying there was no way (<a href="http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2008/08/watchmen-update.html?eref=time_entertainment" rel="nofollow">link</a>, bottom of article) - I suppose he knows what he's talking about. It’s doubtful that a movie could get pulled so late in the process, thankfully.
