We here at Geeks of Doom just want to say on this most historic day …
Sen. Barack Obama has won the election for President of the United States of America …
… And it’s a great day to be an American.
Congratulations Sen. Obama.
Here’s to a much brighter future.

Thanks palin!
America falls from grace on this day. Thanks to all who are ignorant enough to fall for such petty tricks.
@Trevor
Hey, dude! You seem to have mistook this for the *2004* Election thread. Take a right turn at Albuquerque and you should be back on track. ;) kthxbye
GOBAMA!!
Congrats america
Wow… such ignorance still exists out there… It’s one of those things you know is true, but it takes someone like Trevor to really hammer it home.
It’s too bad McCain’s supporters can’t be as gracious in crushing defeat as he was.
All that aside, I’m proud to call myself an American this morning. I’m proud that the victory wasn’t just the usual blue states and one more. I’m proud of the youth voters. I’m proud that the system didn’t let us down again.
But above all, I’m proud that there are still people in the world with the power to inspire hope.

Dear Dave3 and G-o-D’ers,
Let’s relegate the radical right-wing fear mongers and socially stifling religious fanatics to the dust bin of history.
Let’s work together and respect each other and our differences in the name of a progress that has been for far too long a time coming.
Say it with me and say it proudly:
President Barack Hussein Obama!
Congrats to Obama!
Oh, I’m sorry, you were serious. My bad.
