Actually the Abrams film is *not* the only Trek "game in town".

There's the highly anticipated MMORPG in the works by Crytic, Star Trek Online. It takes place 20 years after Star Trek Nemesis. This was the last outing we see of any crew of the TNG timeline (1701-D/E, DS9, Voyager). I know there is a stigma among a lot of people with MMO's, but I know there is a strong collection Trekkers who are eyeing it and looking forward to finally being able to join in on the story themselves, myself included.

Actually, the internet is rife with Star Trek Fan films and audio dramas for those who want to get their "Trek" on. Some are pretty bad, but others like Starship Exeter, Star Trek New Voyages, and Hidden Frontier are very good.

This is very cool. If J.J. Abrams is involved, it must be good. I also found out that the son of the late James Doohan (Chris Doohan) is in the movie too. He has a scene with the new Scotty, Simon Pegg. Got to love that!!!
