As the producer of the Inside Moves DVD, I want to thank you for the wonderful review.

I would like to make one correction. Despite the information IMDB provides, the original aspect ratio of the film is 1.85, not 2.35:1 as the review indicates. It was not cropped in any way for the DVD release. This was confirmed in two ways...
A) the new transfer was sourced from a low contrast 35mm print of the film, which would have contained the film in 2.35:1 if it was shot in that ratio... it wasn't.
and
B) the audio commentary for the disc was recorded to the new transfer. If the film was incorrectly transferred in the wrong ratio, Donner would have made mention of it. He didn't and actually was thrilled with the DVD's transfer.

Just wanted to add that note so nobody fears the DVD is incorrect in any way.

Hello:

I've been telling people about Inside Moves for years. It's one of my all time favorite films. I'm so happy the film is finally getting the attention it deserves. Breaking Away, another of my favorites, is a perfect little film from the same period that deserves a new DVD release as well.
