Watch Now: First Trailer For ‘The A-Team’ Movie Is Here

The Movie God   |    |

A-Team

The very first trailer for Joe Carnahan‘s (Smokin’ Aces) theatrical version of popular TV show The A-Team has found its way online. Only one official image had been released for the this movie so far, which makes this trailer everyone’s first really good look at the movie.

As far as judging books by their cover goes, this is one of those titles we kind of laughed at when hearing it would become a movie. This is because we only know it in its cheesy ’80s form, and the first thing that we think of is Mr. T. Thankfully, The A-Team is a show that is well-suited for an update, and most of it transfers to modern styles with ease. The trailer makes the movie look like a lot of fun. It also makes the movie look like it’s directed by Michael Bay, but it definitely looks like it could be great action movie.

Be sure to head over to the other side and check out the trailer for yourselves. Share your thoughts in the comments!

The most important part of The A-Team is of course the cast. Featuring Liam Neeson (Kingdom of Heaven, Taken) as Hannibal; Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, Wedding Crashers) as Face; Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Murdoch; and former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as B.A. Baracus. Most of the cast is great, with Rampage being the big wild card. Looking at his background and the guys surrounding him is incredibly confusing to some, but as I said when his casting was first announced, the man is hilarious and has all the qualities to win you over. If they didn’t have such a strong cast I would be highly doubtful of this film, but with who they have, I really think it’s destined for popularity.

The A-Team will be released on June 11, 2010.

This has promise and I think Joe Carnahan is perfect for this.
    Great cast too!!!

  2. scrotumbagmonkeyflicker Says:

Absolute garbage. Are they trying to insult us by releasing this crap??

  3. Empress Eve Says:

Considering how the original A-Team show was (let’s face it, kinda silly), the movie doesn’t have to be high brow. BUT, as much as I love Liam Neeson (and I do, I really do), his accent goes in and out in this trailer footage. I expect Hannibal to be more gruff, so his voice has to be consistent. Otherwise, I like what I see so far.

  4. Me Says:

I wanted Jim Carrey as Murdoch, atleast we get an A-team movie Amazing ;)

  5. NeverWanderer Says:

I had my misgivings about Liam Neeson as well, just because I couldn’t see him being a grinny as George Peppard… but, y’know, he’s convinced me! And, yeah, for all its silliness, that’s EXACTLY what an A-Team movie should be. I can’t wait. ^_^

  6. Paul Says:

I’m more excited and hopeful about this movie after seeig the trailer! The significant lack of pictures until now had me nervous. Movies in development usually have more images released/leaked/etc by now.

  7. james Says:

I would of liked to have seen george clooney as hannibal brad pitt as face ice cube as ba and jim carey as murdoch. having just watched the clip i think it looks very disapointing but we will have to wait and see..
