The Gold Box spotlight deal of the day over at Amazon today is X-Men Trilogy + X-Men Origins: Wolverine Blu-ray editions for only $50.99 (that’s 58% off the list price of $119.98).
For this deal you get the original X-Men trilogy in a Blu-ray box set — X-Men, X2: X-Men United, and X-Men: The Last Stand — along with the Blu-ray edition of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Math time: $50.99 divided by 4 movies = $12.75 per movie for Blu-ray editions. End result: Bargain.
This sale is for only for today until midnight PST while supplies last.
It’s actually only 2 movies. X-Men 3 (Directed by the fantastic Brett Ratner….) sucked & so did X-Men Origins. So it’s $50.99 divided by (2 movies + 2 paper weights) = $25.495 per movie.
No matter how poor the movies, technically, you are getting four, but I understand your point, lol. Although, I thought Wolverine was a lot of fun – it was basically a dumb action movie, so it served it purpose. There’s no excuse for what was done to X3.
No excuse whatsoever. Especially after how great X2 was. After seeing Superman Returns it made everything pointless. Bryan Singer should’ve never left the X-Men franchise.
