Trailers for the film once known simply as the Facebook movie have been coming in quick succession lately. First came a couple brief but somewhat hypnotizing teaser trailers and now we have the first full-length trailer for The Social Network, as it’s more officially known.
The Social Network is directed by David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club) and is based on the book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal by Ben Mizrich.

The new trailer begins by showing off familiar Facebook actions set to Radiohead’s “Creep” as sung by a choir. It then moves into the first actual footage from the film, using all of the lines we only heard in the second teaser trailer and putting imagery to it. Everything is wrapped up with some new stuff to remedy any repetition. All-in-all a very solid trailer and well worth the watch.
The movie stars Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, and more. In fact, one of my favorite things about the trailer actually has nothing to do with the movie. As you all know Garfield was recently cast as the new Spider-Man, and though he is a very talented actor, I wondered how his American accent would sound. In this trailer you get a little taste of that, and now I feel even better about him as Spidey.
