The latest trailer for Disney‘s upcoming 3D release, Tron Legacy, the sequel to Tron , has finally been released on the internet, and this time, the clues of the teaser begin to move towards giving viewers and fans more of an idea of the story that will unfold in the film.

Fan feedback across the web, at a glance, seems to be highly positive– as it should be: the footage contained in this trailer is nothing short of breathtaking and, personally speaking, makes me very excited about seeing this movie. Now, while I do mention breathtaking, bear in mind this trailer is not only full of effects like the last two that had been released; in this teaser, we get more in touch with the two characters played by Jeff Bridges (Kevin Flynn and CLU2 of course) in the film, as well as the other characters.
Like most of you, I’ve been waiting for this sequel for many years, and so far all the teasers seem to indicate this movie might just match (or hopefully exceed) expectations.
Tron: Legacy is directed by Joseph Kosinski, and stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, and Bruce Boxleitner. The film is being released in 3D by Disney and will be hitting theaters on December 17, 2010.

It’s like the trailer is having sex with my eyes, and I mean that in the best possible way.
