Teaser Trailer For Marcus Nispel’s ‘Conan The Barbarian’ Remake Is Here

The first teaser trailer for Conan the Barbarian has finally made its way to the web, and you can see it here now.

The movie is directed by Marcus Nispel (Friday the 13th, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and tells the story of a man whose entire village is slaughtered. When this man finds the ones responsible, he makes it his mission to avenge those who were killed while having to battle all sorts of mythical creatures and beasts and dangers along the way.

You can continue on below now to check out the first teaser trailer for Conan the Barbarian. The movie will be released on August 19, 2011.

Conan stars Jason Momoa (Stargate Atlantis, Game of Thrones) in the lead role, Rose McGowan (Scream, Grindhouse), Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Blade II), Stephen Lang (Avatar, Tombstone), Said Taghmaoui (Vantage Point, Three Kings), and Rachel Nichols (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Star Trek).

    Can’t wait. I used to watch the animated series when I was younger. Conan the Adventurer..ahh memories.

  6. Guys, this is simply a teaser and not meant to give away plot or much substance as far as characters go. It is meant to simply get us excited/talking about the film. It is a successful teaser, whether or not you are going to see this film.

    As a side note, to those who are complaining about this being another ‘annoying re-make’, everyone should understand that is NOT a remake, it’s a re-adaptation. From what I’ve read, this film will be more accurate to Robert E. Howard’s original stories.

    I for one, cannot wait to see this film.
