It’s full steam ahead for Doctor Who Series 6, as the promotional material keeps on coming out. As you may recall from our report and posting of the prequel for “The Impossible Astronaut,” there was rumor floating around the web that there was another trailer coming for the new season. BBC has confirmed that there will be a second trailer and that it will be posted online tomorrow (Tuesday, March 29, 2011).
The trailer is a minute long, and will air first on BBC1 in the UK. There is no time confirmation for the airing at this time, but for our UK Geeks of Doom, The Doctor Who News Page is reporting it will most likely be during primetime viewing in the evening. An edited 20-second version of the trailer will air on CBBC (BBC for kids).
As soon as the new trailer is available, we will have it posted for you right here at Geeks of Doom.

Probably going to make a few enemies saying this but being from Blighty and all, I’m amazed at what passes for acting on the BBC these days. It’s duff. There, I said it. Duff to the core, and we’re not talking Homers favourite brand of adult soda here. The BBC are pushing stage and theatre productions as TV and are getting away with it hook, line and sinker. I’ll name a few more shall I, Merlin, Being Human all reek of poor quality theatre productions. The lightings straight out of Baywatch Nights from the late eighties early nineties. Awful,just utterly amateurish in my opinion. The BBC do ok news and great wildlife nature shows but coupled with the soaps and the ‘Drama’ our SCI FI should be overhauled completely.

Just sick of people telling me how great the BBC are at putting together dumbed down poorly acted trash. I’d rather watch football.
