Nothing like two geek-adored characters, or in this case, the actors portraying them, finding love, and new roles, on an equally adored television show.
Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters, better known as Cordelia and Spike on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel, will appear on Supernatural in the September 23rd episode, entitled Shut Up, Dr. Phil.
The pair will play a married couple, with the former looking for revenge on her hubby for some random reason. And, Carpenter’s character is a witch. Other than that, not much else is known.
Personally, sure, this is an ironic turn of events for the pair, at least in the eyes of this Buffy fan, but since I’ve never watched an episode of Supernatural, it’s going to be hard for me to get excited.  Toss in the fact that neither of these actors have really been all that interesting career-wise in quite some time, this news doesn’t get me as stoked as it would have a decade or so ago.
I can’t wait. I’m a Supernatural fan , but to have the wonderfully gorgeous James Marsters in it just makes it better and better. I just hope he uses his English accent so hot!! Of course Ms Carpenter will be welcome too.Â

I just met both of them last week at Wizard World Chicago. “Spike” was sooo nice in person!
