Funko released images and preorder information for the upcoming Blox line of unique vinyl toys.

I’m a big fun of all of Funko’s line of vinyl figures including the bobble heads and more specifically the rounded, larger Pop! Vinyl figures that add a certain level of “adorable” that Funko has seemed to perfect on pop culture icons such as The Joker and Batman.

I like my Batman in various forms, but normally, I can only picture The Joker in one way. But there’s just something about that hyper cute Funko vinyl look that makes the toy irresistible. And while the Pop! Vinyl line does feature a more cute, rounded looking figure, the upcoming Blox line is a two dimensional figure/drawing with added depth that basically makes it appear as if it’s a clunky, thick adorable drawing of pop culture icons. While I don’t know everything about the vinyl toy market, this seems like a new take on the popular craze. And I like what I see.

This set of unique takes on vinyl figures various characters from pop culture including Batman, The Joker, Gene Simmons, Homer Simpson, Krusty The Clown, Boo Berry, Frankenberry, and Count Chocula. In previous lines, Funko has had special figures for The Ramones, Batman variants and many, many more, so while this set is amazing, yet sparse, hopefully there will be many more further down the road. In fact, if anyone is reading this, I’d love to see a whole set of Cap’n Crunch vinyls! Anyway, have a look at all the figures here below and preorder yourself (and myself) copies here.
