As a video game, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men wasn't the most popular ever to be developed. It also didn't help at all that the team that made it is the same team responsible for the eternally popular Hitman game series, which hasn't offered us a new installment in far too long, much to the dismay of its many fans.

Even in the mediocre showing of Kane & Lynch, a movie based on the game has always been in the works, with superstar Bruce Willis attached to star as Kane for just as long. Willis's involvement went from expected to confirmed back in October, but we've wondering since then who would be playing the role of Lynch.

According to screenwriter Kyle Ward, we now have an answer to that question, and that role will be filled by Jamie Foxx.

Ward seemingly announced the casting on his Twitter account, saying which was then deleted. Unfortunately for anyone who didn't want this to be known, it was seen and reported by many outlets not long after. [...]

Gizmodo has a very interesting new article about the future of cell phones and the ever-growing technologies associated with them.

In speaking to Imagination Technologies, who created the PowerVR chip that makes your iPhones and Droids as pretty and as popular as they are, it was revealed that in about three years, we could have the capabilities to run PlayStation 3 level graphics on our phones. As with anything involving such a constantly-growing industry, companies are always working with new products, technologies, and prototypes that take time to evolve, which explains the estimated wait.

Imagination claims that we'll see PS3 graphics in a few years because that's what they've designed and are working on at this very moment. All that needs to be done now is to perfect the technology and what it is capable of doing, and then get phone companies to get it in their products.

Because I'm not very knowledgeable in the realms of tech stuffs, here is exactly how Gizmodo describes the possibilities. If I attempted to explain this in my own words, you'd likely start crying. [...]

If someone were to ask you right this very moment that if you could choose any one song in the whole, wide world to have added to your dearest Rock Band, what would you choose? For those of you who said "I would want Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" as performed by Eric Cartman on Comedy Central's South Park," then boy, oh boy do I have a little treat for you!

Rock Band has officially announced that along with some actual Lady Gaga songs, they will also be adding Cartman's beautiful rendition on the tune. The character, who of course is part of Matt Stone and Trey Parker's vulgar animated South Park world, sang the song on Rock Band with Kenny and Kyle in the episode "Whale Whores."

After your own night of karaoke, drunkenly stumble your way to the bottom of this post to watch Cartman get lyrical all up on ya'll. [...]

Duck and Cover has gotten their hands on a bunch of new screenshots from Bethesda Softworks and Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming Fallout: New Vegas.

The game will be the fourth installment in the fantastic franchise that last delivered one of the greatest games ever made in Fallout 3, which was released in the Fall of 2008. This new adventure returns us to post-apocalyptic Las Vegas, and to a familiar area for fans of the first two games, which were set out west.

Throw on your vault jumpsuit, grab an ice cold Nuka Cola, and head on over to check out the new screenshots!

Obsidian was founded by many members of Black Isle Studios, who created Fallout and Fallout 2 for Interplay. Back then, Interplay Entertainment owned the property and when some complications arose in the relationship, they were forced to lay everyone at Black Isle off. Eventually, Bethesda acquired all of the rights to the Fallout franchise, and contracted Obsidian to develop this new title. Bethesda developed the best-in-series third game themselves, but will just be publishing Fallout: New Vegas this time around. [...]

A new video has been released online, and it shows the first 10 minutes of the game. This will give you a basic idea of what to expect when you get your own copy. Of course, if you're like me, you've already purchased the special God of War and God of War II re-release OR the District 9 Blu-ray in order to grab your own download of the demo!
Some strange and interesting breaking news being reported by G4 tonight. Apparently right this moment as you read this, Infinity Ward has been taken over by a bunch of "bouncer-type" security sorts who refused to disclose who they were or why they were there.

None of the employees of Infinity Ward seem to have any clue why this is happening or who's behind it, but everyone there is naturally concerned and worried about what is actually going on. To make matters even worse for the employees, apparently studio heads Vince Zampella and Jason West had a meeting with Activision earlier this morning, but have not been seen or heard from since then.

This is such an odd and random situation, one must wonder what's going on. Is something severely wrong at the video game developer's building? Is some sort of messed up mass prank being pulled off a month early? Are they trying to sell a game with extreme methods? Answers are sought by many who are concerned. [...]

The work on Fable III is already well under-way, and with promises of a Holiday season 2010 release date, the folks at Lionhead Studios have a lot on their plate these days. None-the-less, things seem to be going well, and after some big announcements made recently, the studio has released a new video diary to warm up your excitement levels for the third adventure.

Lionhead top dog Peter Molyneaux recently spoke at the X10 convention, and arrived with promises of the announcements of major changes to the Fable franchise that would likely leave many angered. As it turns out, all of the big changes actually sound pretty exciting, and, depending on how well the concepts translate to gameplay, they could make for a very cool, very unique Fable III experience.

Among the many changes being reported out of the convention, it looks as if Lionhead is ready to take our hand (literally) and guide us away from the games that we're familiar with today, including Fable II. For example: there will be no more health bars or orbs of experience or any of that. Everything will depend solely on who you are and what you do with your Fable III life. Developer: Bioware
Publisher: EA
Release Date: November 2, 2009

I’ve never played too many American developed RPG’s before, I’m much more of a Japanese RPG fan, but I needed a game to fill the time before Final Fantasy XIII came out, so I decided to pick up Dragon Age: Origins for my PS3. Am I happy with my purchase? Well, more or less. The game has some flaws to it, but there are also good points as well, and there’s plenty to do in the game, so I feel like at least I got my money’s worth.

Dragon Age takes place in a pretty standard fantasy realm. There are dwarves and elves and magic and as the title says, dragons. You take the role of a Gray Warden, one of the last of a group of people who defend the land from the demonic swarms of the dark spawn. After a political coup disrupts the land, you must travel around and unite an army in order to find the oncoming menace. That’s more or less the basic plot for the game, and if you’ve ever wanted a video game based on George RR Martin’s Song of Fire and Ice this is pretty close to it. The story is certainly one of the high points of the game. It’s very strong and there are a lot of interesting characters that you will want to follow. There are almost too many interesting characters, because I found myself wanting to see how every one of the playable characters reacted to the events of the story, but you can only see the reactions of three of the characters at a time [...]

After the gigantic success of Fallout 3, fans of the series have been itching for more post-apocalyptic action. With the announcement of a fourth game entitled Fallout: New Vegas, you can only imagine how excited said fans have been, and it doesn't look like the wait will be all that tortuous.

Bethesda Softworks has officially announced that Fallout: New Vegas will be released in the Fall of 2010. To accompany this exciting news, a brand new teaser trailer in true Fallout fashion has also been released for your viewing pleasure.

While it was Bethesda who brought us Fallout 3 and all of the great new combat and first person shooter styles that made the RPG truly special, it is Obsidian Entertainment who is handling the developing duties for New Vegas. Obsidian is no stranger to the world -- they made Fallout 2 -- but this does raise the question: will this new title have the same gameplay as its Game of the Year-crowned predecessor, or will it go back to older RPG styles?
We all know the words to the song: movies that are based on video games and video games that are based on movies are almost always terrible. It's just how things are. Even though the chances are rare, we still get excited about the prospect of our favorite titles being made into games and movie -- the thought of playing in a world we love or watching a world we've played in be brought to life is just too irresistible -- and so we will always hope for those few and far between times that the adaptation will work beautifully.
br/>
One fantastic sign for a fan is when the makers of their favorite game or movie are open to the possibilities, but also very adamant about the effort being put in to make something great. This is the way things are when it comes to BioWare's brilliant Mass Effect franchise.
br/>
While speaking to MTV recently, Mass Effect 2 (which hits this Tuesday...finally) Project Director Casey Hudson had this to say about the interest there is to make a movie: [...]

We've now reach the year 2010, and Fallout 3 was first released on October 28, 2008. This means that if you're a big video game player, then you've probably already roamed the desolate Wasteland of post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. and don't need my review or opinion. Thankfully, Bethesda Softworks and the game were honored with the coveted Game of the Year designation, and a Game of the Year edition of the game was released this past October with all of the amazing extra DLC content that was created to accompany the title.

When friends of mine first pushed me to play a little game called The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, I was reluctant and didn't know what to expect. After an epic 230 hour adventure (Yes, I take my time and do A LOT!), it was one of my favorite games of all time. Naturally, when we began hearing about the game studio's next game, Fallout 3, it became an incredibly high priority, and once again, we were not let down.

Fallout 3 takes place in the year 2277, long after you and I have become dust in the wind, and two hundred years after nuclear war finally decimated our beautiful planet [...]

Recently we shared a couple of new images from ABC's Lost that showed the cast replicating Leonardo da Vinci's famed "The Last Supper" painting. This along with shows like Battlestar Galactica (seen above) and House have made it quite apparent that this was a popular thing to do whilst promoting your show. As it turns out, this happens all the time, and Jeremy from Culture Popped was able to point us to a ton of them to check out.

Among the many variations you will find many popular TV shows and movies and brand name characters. Titles like The Simpsons, Star Wars, M.A.S.H., South Park, and The Sopranos appear along with Walt Disney characters and brand characters from McDonalds and everything in between, all showing off their very own "Last Supper" renditions. Some are very well-done and worth seeing while others are basic and passable.

Click on over to the other side to check out a few of our favorite "Last Supper" parodies, and be sure to head over to Culture Popped where you can see an insane amount of these images all in one convenient location. This sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare sold almost 5 million copies in its first day of release back in November, so chances are, most of you who wanted it already own it, but if you were holding out for a sale -- the day is here! But, this sale is only for today while supplies last, so grab it while you can before it sells out.

From what I've been told, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 combines a thrilling single player story with some very fine cooperative segments to make one of the best multiplayer games ever. This sequel takes place five years after the original Modern Warfare (all other Call of Duty games take place in a World War II setting), and sees you filling the shoes of multiple different characters as they fight in battles all over the world [...]
