It took a little while before we got the much-expected second Harold and Kumar movie, but no one will be waiting around this time as it’s been announced that a third film is indeed on the way.
Kal Penn and John Cho are expected to return, but no official word there yet. Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg will write and direct the movie, as they did with the previous two installments. Greg Shapiro will produce.
Signing Penn and Cho is obviously the big question mark right now; if they don’t get those kids, they won’t come anywhere near their previous success. Considering they’re listed as “expected,” I can only assume that they’ve very verbally made it clear that they’d be happy to come back and act like silly stoners for a fat paycheck again. Plus, who can resist hanging out with the NPH?
Let’s hope the stars return and that H&K3 won’t turn into another Dumb & Dumberer.
Plots are being kept a secret at the moment. Where could they possibly go next?!
Silly stoners.

Has NPH even signed on or been rumored to be in it for a 3rd time?
After Dr. Horrible I can’t get enough of him.
