At a panel at Dragon*Con 08, some of the Battlestar Galactica cast members talked about their post-BSG projects.
James Callis, who plays Baltar on the show, told fans that he had signed on to do the BBC television program, Merlin, in which he would be playing the title role. (However, ProgGrrl pointed out that no official announcement had been made about his involvement.)
Richard Hatch will direct Ghost Frequency, a film from his new production company. The actor, who also starred on the original 1970s version of BSG, also has plans to start a new network for the Sci-Fi community. (The man stuck it out for BSG because he believed in it — tend to think he’ll bring the same tenacity to this endeavor.)
Aaron Douglas will play cop Frank Leo in The Bridge, a Movie of the Week for CTV, which could get picked up as a regular series. He described the show as a cop drama with lots of political elements and questions of morality. An air date for the series was not announced but they wrapped up production just prior to the convention.

Sounds like Callis is doing a tv film not a series, and not the BBC series MERLIN.
