Filming Begins on ‘Dread’ with ‘Twilight’ Star Jackson Rathbone
  |  @   |

Filming has begun in the UK on Dread, the big-screen adaptation of the Clive Barker short story from his popular Books of Blood.

Directed by Anthony Diblasi, who also penned the screenplay, Dread stars Twilight‘s Jackson Rathbone, along with Shaun Evans (Being Julia) and newcomers Hanne Steen and Laura Donnelly.

Dread is a psychological thriller centering on three college students who study other people’s fears. As the study progresses, one of the students begins to seek salvation from his obsession by exploiting the terrors of his fellow participants.

Barker serves as producer on the film, which will shoot for five weeks on location in London.

  1. Well Twilight
has been getting a big stir, mainly because of the good looking vampires, so say the pics. I think Dread

has a good premise too. Young student goes into college and is caught up in an experiment for fear. I guess you can say I’m interested.
